One of the beliefs of The Center for Biblical Counseling is the total sufficiency of God's written Word for life and godliness. We believe that God's Word is totally sufficient for instructing those who are in need spiritually, from anger to marriage counseling and even life-dominating sin. Obedience to God's Word with accountability to other believers is the answer to all non-medical problems a person maybe facing.
The Center for Biblical Counseling offers Biblical Counseling by appointment only Monday-Friday during regular office hours and even during the evening for special circumstance. The counseling that is provided at The Center for Biblical Counseling is at the discretion of the staff counselor and always calls for the counselee to do some form of homework and study. Only people who trust in God's Word can be helped by Biblical Counseling. Those who are willing to do what the counselor teaches will be blessed in the doing as James 1:25 tells us.
The Center for Biblical Counseling has taken a stand against the godless teachings of psychology and so-called "Christian Counseling," which integrates psychology and the Word of God. The Center for Biblical Counseling believes that God is the only one who has total insight into the human soul and His direction for the human soul is clear in His Word.
